Why is the PayPal Business App being deprecated?

We are deprecating the app to streamline our service and focus on delivering the best user experience through the web platform. This change allows us to allocate resources toward improving the features and performance of our web experiences.

When will the app no longer be available?

The app will no longer be available after March 31, 2025. However, you can still access your account and functionalities through the web experience after this date.

How do I access my account after the deprecation?

Your account and all associated data will remain secure and accessible through the web experience. Your information will not be lost; you can log in with the same credentials on PayPal.com and continue running your business.

How can I continue to manage my business with PayPal?

Visit PayPal.com on any internet browser. Log in using the same username and password you used for the app, and you’ll have access to your information and similar features.

Will I see the same experience on the web if I have a personal account vs a business account?

No. If you log into PayPal.com with a personal account, you might not see some business-specific features. In this case, we recommend you either open a new business account with PayPal or upgrade your personal account to a business one.

Are my login credentials the same on the web as in the app?

Yes, you can log in to the web experience using the same username and password you used with the app.

Is there a deadline for switching to the web experience?

There is a deadline for the business app experience. We’ll remove the business app from the app stores on March 31, 2025. We encourage you to use the web experience as soon as possible to familiarize yourself with it before the app retires.

I don’t have a computer- Can I use the web experience on my phone?

Yes, you can access the web experience on any mobile browser. Our site is optimized for mobile use, and you can continue to manage your account directly from your phone.

I can’t access some of the features I used to access from the Business App in the web experience. How can I access these?

If you log into PayPal.com with a personal account, you might not see some business-specific features. In this case, you can either open a new business account with PayPal or upgrade your personal account to a business account.
